Mr. Greenberg's practice is focused on real estate and bankruptcy law. He has a broad range of experience representing individuals and REITs in residential and commercial real estate transactions. He also has experience representing developers, national retailers and small business owners in all aspects of retail and office leasing as well as other commercial transactions. Mr. Greenberg's bankruptcy practice is focused on representing small businesses and individuals in out-of-court restructurings and Chapters 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, as well as representing investors in transactions involving distressed debt and other distressed assets. Mr. Greenberg has both extensive legal and financial experience having worked at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York, Sills Cummis in Newark and at an investment fund affiliated with J.P. Morgan. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland, a JD from Northwestern University School of Law, and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is admitted to the bars of New York, New Jersey and the U.S. District Courts for New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
